The role of a Fulfillment Expert can provide you with the: • Experience in a dynamic work environment where your daily work will change based on guest ordering patterns • Skills to assess your daily business and utilize tools to determine how to meet digital demand • Knowledge of reporting systems that show how digital guest traffic patterns are changing throughout the day and be adaptable to guest demand • Experience in retail business fundamentals including: department sales trends, inventory management, and process efficiency and improvement As a Fulfillment Expert, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities: • Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience. • Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks. • When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs. • Thank guests and let them know we're happy they chose to shop at Target. • Select items for order pickup, drive up and ship to home for digital guest orders. • Accurately put on hold all order pickup and drive-up orders. • Properly prepare, pack and sort guest orders for shipment using correct materials. • Deliver quality and accuracy with each order while meeting timeliness goals. • Maintain your workspace and supplies; keep equipment and designated areas organized and supplies in stock. • Properly use equipment while following safety best practices. • Follow all safety guidelines, operating procedures, product freshness and quality standards; follow food safety guidelines when handling, displaying and/or storing food items. • Always demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance. • Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible. • Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws. • All other duties based on business needs This may be the right job for you if: • You enjoy interacting and helping others - including guests that shop our store and fellow team members you work with. • You thrive in a fast-moving, highly active and physically demanding role, where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem solving are key to success. • You are open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and other peak shopping times).
