Role and Team • As a Security Guard, you will be an integral part of the Security Team executing processes at our facility to ensure our associates, customers, and assets are protected. At our gates, you will be the face of ADESA to our customers, vendors and associates. You will play an active role in ensuring our Inventory Control procedures are followed. You will be adept at utilizing ADESA technology. You will support vehicle location research when necessary. This position is hourly and reports to the Operations or designated manager. This position may work various shifts and weekends. Responsibilities • Secure all gates and buildings and patrol the premises. Sound alarms and notify authorities in case of emergency. • Verify only authorized individuals enter the property. Provide facility directions to customers, vendors and transporters. • Check gate passes to ensure vehicles are authorized to exit property. • Check departing vehicles to guard against theft of company property. • Greet customers at the gate and provide prompt and courteous service. Resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner. • When difficult situations arise, de-escalate situations to ensure we win with partners and collaborate on the forefront. • Using a handheld device, input vehicle information including the VIN number, miles, owner identification, vehicle options, repair orders and any other pertinent information. • Verify the VIN number being entered matches the VIN number on the shipper's Bill of Lading. • Watch and report irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes and doors left unsecured. • Account for and identify all keys, codes or other safety and security information • Maintain a current list of emergency and management telephone numbers • Maintain good operating condition of all equipment and facilities, including handheld devices and printers. Notify management of all breakdowns and maintenance needs. • Maintain a professional appearance and orderly work environment • Practice and promote teamwork continuously. Student Records Generalist The Student Records Generalist is a flexible support position cross-trained to support core University Registrar functions. The position supports a wide range of enrollment services and student records processing in a caring, timely, and accurate manner. The Student Records Generalist plays a key role in the effective operation of all teams with the University Registrar's Office (UREG). Job Duties 20% - Veterans' Benefit Certifications: • Maintain status as a VA certifying official. • Completing VA certifications as needed by the Veterans' Benefit Coordinator. • Facilitate record keeping and quality assurance procedures. 20% - General Registrar Support: • Develops positive relationships across the department and the university, providing assistance to colleagues on all aspects of UREG processes. • Cross training across other office functions and processes as further areas of need are identified. • Provide ongoing, expert backfill within UREG to support fluctuations in staffing due to university-wide projects and implementations. 20% - Enrollment Services Support: • Perform registration and schedule adjustments. 10% - Degree Progress and Audit: • Process major/minor declarations. • Process degree program substitutions. • Process final semester underload requests. • Support degree audit as needed by the Degree Audit Manager. 10% - Transfer Credit Evaluation: • Enter transfer credit on student records for pre-matriculated and current students. • Respond to transfer credit inquiries as needed by the Transfer Credit Coordinator. 10% - Student Records Maintenance: • Perform personal information adjustments. • Produce transcripts and enrollment verifications. • File and reconcile document images. • Build off-line student records into Banner. 10% - Customer Service Interactions: • Support front-end customer service at times of peak traffic and/or limited staffing. • Provide appropriate and professional customer service during all interactions (in person and by phone). • Refer internal and external customers to the appropriate department for assistance. • Respond to inquiries received via the University Registrar's Office general email account and other office accounts as needed. BASIC FUNCTION: Based on-site in Tulsa, Oklahoma, this position supports Industrial Oils Unlimited, LLC within the Lubricants & Specialties division. Reporting to the Team Lead Customer Service, the Customer Service Representative is accountable for order management and customer service excellence. They are responsible for customer communication from order to fulfillment while working with Sales and Global Supply Chain to fulfill customer orders. They are the primary point of contact for customers. The Customer Service role is progressive in nature where new employees will start learning more fundamental skills and eventually develop the more complex expertise required to offer a superior customer experience and personal development opportunities.
