Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.Job Duties:Maintain a safe forklift driving recordSafely load/unload NCS parts and materials throughout the factoryComplete forklift inspections to monitor the maintenance needs; communicate maintenance issues on a timely basis to your supervisorUse a daily replenishment report to restock bins with parts used in our parts shipping warehouseFollow a cycle count program to help keep an accurate inventory at all timesResponsible for activities related to picking, packing, auditing, and shippingAccurately match necessary paperwork for shipmentsAssist others on the team with looking for items that are missing or possibly misplacedEmpty scrap in proper locationsPull materials and in-process assembled and fabricated parts/materials in and out of inventory for use on department work orders, placing items into inventory and updating computer recordsResponsible for accurately posting transactions when moving productMaintaining adequate inventory levels in warehouse, cells, or work areaAssist with the organization and good housekeeping of the NCS facilityComply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, DOT, local regulatory laws, and company safety policiesManagement retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any timeQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentForklift driving experience (Forklift, pallet jacks, work assist vehicle) 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environmentValid driver's licenseAbility to interact well with customers, vendors, and fellow employeesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionMRP System and scanner experience, preferredAbility to work assigned hours plus overtime as neededPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift light to medium weight up to 50 lbs.Ability to work in all weather conditions, sometimes during inclement weather conditionsMay stoop, bend, reach, walk; perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull, or do fine manipulationsMay sit for prolonged periods of timeNational Carwash Solutions is a proud equal opportunity employer. In areas where Mediacom services are not available, a reimbursement of internet/cable services are provided!Education Enrichment up to $5,000 per year for qualified employees!Employee Wellness ProgramMaintain all inventory in a secure and orderly manner with appropriate controls as outlined in the company's inventory control guidelines.Test, input, and record, the various status moves, of all CPE (customer premise equipment), into the computerized tracking system.Transport inventory materials and/or customer premise equipment (CPE), via company delivery vehicle, to other warehouse or office locations as instructed by Warehouse management personnel.Perform regular inventory audit counts (cycle counts) to maintain accurate inventory.Investigate history, if necessary, to determine reason for discrepancies, if any, between inventory records and actual physical inventory and recommends action to resolve such discrepancies.Distribute supplies and equipment, upon authorized request, and return them to proper location after use.Perform shipping and receiving functions, including lifting and carrying loads of up to 70 pounds.Review records for accuracy and compliance with established company procedures, to determine adequacy of inventory levels.Prepare equipment for shipment to various locations, such as repair facilities, fulfillment distribution center and company office locations.Lift and carry loads of up to 70lbs.Other duties as assigned.High school diploma or GED required. 1-3 years' experience working in a warehouse environment preferred. Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and implications in the implementation of job duties/responsibilities. Ability to show sound judgment and initiative to accomplish assigned duties/responsibilities without close supervision. Ability to communicate effectively with other personnel. Ability to develop and implement record-keeping processes/procedures. Ability to drive sit-down and stand-up forklifts and other industrial vehicles such as cherry-pickers and automated pallet jacks. Intermediate computer skills including use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Oracle and CSG Billing. Valid driver's license; satisfactory driving record.
