Position Type: Secretarial/Clerical Date Posted: 4/6/2026 Location: Centennial Middle School JOB TITLE: Attendance Secretary DEPARTMENT: Instructional Services/Assigned Site REPORTS TO: Principal FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt EMPLOYMENT STATUS: 9-month contract SALARY: Based on Experience, $11.90 - $14.15 per hour MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school diploma or GED Experience: 1 -3 years general office Skills: Computer literacy required; excellent interpersonal skills; highly accurate and detail-oriented ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: These statements are intended to describe the responsibilities assigned to the position and are not intended to represent an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required. • Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the district's student information system data for the assigned site. Maintains attendance records for assigned sites. Maintains daily sign-in sheet. Obtains and tracks attendance via phone calls from parents, as well as initiating calls to parents/guardians. • Electronically records student attendance. Coordinates student data with the cafeteria records on attendance. Collates data electronically for state and site reporting. • Provides additional clerical support as required in counseling office, principal's office, assistant principal's office, etc. • Finalizes enrollment when student reports to school; processes all withdrawal requests when students leave school. • Answers inquiries from parents/guardians and school officials using BOE guidelines and state approved codes. • Responsible for all site reports regarding attendance data. Prepares end of year reports as required by the State Department of Education; prepares reports as requested by principal. ESSENTIAL BEHAVIOR: Ability to use sound judgment in any situation. Ability to receive and appropriately respond to directions from supervisor. Able to successfully deal with changes in job assignment and priorities and properly respond to complaints. Able to work cooperatively with all district employees and the public while achieving the objectives of the job. ATTENDANCE STATEMENT: Able to be in attendance for assigned responsibilities with 95% attendance. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: Primarily inside working conditions with minimal exposure to extreme environmental conditions. Position Summary: As a Material Handler, you will be a crucial part of our manufacturing process, responsible for preparing and delivering materials according to lot cards, drawings, and work orders. Your main responsibilities will include determining the required thickness of disk material, cutting materials using cutting tables or square shears, and utilizing the Flashcut machine to provide gaskets to craftsmen. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of material within your control and the organization of the materials. Key Job Responsibilities: • Determine the required thickness of disk material using established formulas and procedures. • Cut materials using cutting tables or square shears. • Utilize the Flashcut machine to accurately cut gasket material for craftsmen based on lot cards, drawings or work orders. • Demonstrate proficiency in operating the computer, Flashcut program, and Flashcut machine to ensure efficient material cutting. • Identify and provide the required material to craftsmen as per their needs. • Deliver material to craftsmen promptly and efficiently. • Perform order picking by reading pick tickets, complete necessary paperwork, and operate barcode scanners during the picking or put-away process. • Accurately recording transactions for material on lot cards or job traveller and in the ERP system. • Receiving in materials for Sheet and Coil stock and storing the material in a manner that will prevent damage or lost of value. • Effective communication skills exhibiting OE Values and Behaviours. • Working knowledge of OE Company Handbook, QE procedures and Safety Policies. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Experience in pulling orders for shipment. • Ability to read and comprehend work orders and perform transactions in a barcode/scanner computer system. • Demonstrated accuracy in picking and selecting required materials. • Ability to efficiently complete work to achieve or exceed performance targets for quality and cost. • Proficient in performing accurate physical counts of material quantities to resolve discrepancies. • Basic computer skills to navigate business systems. • Experience using business systems such as SAP, Epicor, Oracle, or D365. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize workflow effectively. • Attention to details in data entry to the ERP system for inventory transactions and clocking into jobs to accurately record time on the job. • Good organization skills for managing stocked material to prevent loss or damage. Education and Certification Qualifications: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
