Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Drywall and Paint Carpenter with strong hands-on experience in steel stud framing, drywall installation/finishing, interior painting, and commercial tenant improvement. Key Duties & Responsibilities Perform commercial tenant improvement work with strong emphasis on: Steel stud framing, layout, and installation Drywall hanging, taping, mudding, finishing, and texture Interior painting, including surface prep, priming, and finish coats Additional responsibilities include: Door and hardware installation Finish carpentry, trim work, and millwork Casework installation Review blueprints and understand project scope Maintain high standards of craftsmanship, safety, and jobsite organization Collaborate on medical, government, and commercial projects Painting skills and advanced drywall finishing/taping are highly valued and will result in a higher starting wage. Schedule Primarily daytime hours with occasional night shifts (typically 4 × 10-hour shifts with 3 days off) — a schedule many team members appreciate for better work-life balance.
