As a part of the team, you will: • Positions parts and subassemblies by reading blueprints and instructions. • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit. • Operates hand and power tools to connect parts. • Performs tube installation and rolling operations. • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions with Team Lead, Supervisor and/or Team Manager approval. • Provides needed material(s) to various workstations and/or locations. • Loads and unloads trucks, units and parts. • Reads blueprints or instructions for job specifications. • Operates cut saws, drill presses, and punch press, as needed to fabricate parts and subassemblies. • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; and troubleshooting malfunctions. • Use precision measuring devices to check quality of work. • Safely rigs structure and material for movement by overhead crane. • Responsible for maintaining a clean work area both during and at the end of each work shift. • All employees are expected to prioritize safety, regardless of role. What you know: You have a High School Diploma or GED, preferred and: • 1 year of professional experience related to manufacturing preferred • Basic math skills including the ability to read a tape measure and callipers required • Demonstrated ability to read blueprints preferred. • Experience using industrial machines preferred. • Forklift operation certification preferred. • Overhead crane experience preferred • Demonstrates proficiency in one or more of the following equipment: radial drills, fin tube machinery, large vertical band saw, presses, breaks and shears. UPS is seeking Package Delivery Drivers to safely operate delivery trucks and deliver packages to residential and commercial customers on an assigned route. Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading packages, following a scheduled delivery route, operating a UPS delivery vehicle, and providing excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups. Drivers must be comfortable driving a delivery truck, and some locations may require the ability to drive a manual transmission delivery vehicle. This position requires passing a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and maintaining a valid driver's license with a clean driving record in accordance with UPS and DOT regulations. This position typically pays $45 per hour or more for full-time UPS package delivery drivers, with additional overtime pay available during peak seasons.Drivers are responsible for meeting daily delivery quotas, using handheld scanners to track and confirm deliveries, following all UPS safety procedures, lifting and carrying packages, and maintaining a professional appearance while representing UPS. Drivers must follow company guidelines regarding safe driving practices, package handling procedures, delivery confirmation procedures, and customer interaction standards.Full-time UPS employees may be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, pension plan, 401(k), paid vacation, paid holidays, overtime opportunities, and union-negotiated wage increases.
