Cherry Picker Operator Now hiring Cherry Picker Operators on 1st Shift in Apopka, FL! Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity! We are seeking experienced Cherry Picker Operators to join a busy warehouse team in Apopka. In this role, you'll operate a cherry picker, unload inbound shipments, assist with inventory put-away, and perform general warehouse duties to support daily operations. What You'll Do: • Operate a cherry picker safely and efficiently. • Unload shipping containers and stage incoming products. • Pick and pull customer orders accurately. • Put away inventory using an RF scanner. • Verify shipment quantities and product accuracy. • Complete shipping and receiving paperwork as needed. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. • Assist with general warehouse tasks and support other team members as needed. • Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse operating guidelines. Required Qualifications: • Previous cherry picker experience (required). • Experience using RF scanners (required). • Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift. • Able to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse, including hot summer temperatures. • Candidates must be willing to learn facility procedures and consistently follow all safety policies. Preferred Qualifications: • 2+ years of cherry picker experience. • 2+ years of experience using RF scanning systems or similar warehouse technology. The crossing guard position requires the applicant to work a split shift that includes mornings and afternoons. This seasonal position coincides with the Orange County Public Schools' school year and is part-time (15-20 hours per week). GENERAL DESCRIPTION This position requires the performance of traffic safety work at designated school crossing areas. Work is performed under the general supervision of the patrol supervisor. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS The tasks listed below represent most of the time spent working in this position. Supervisor may assign additional tasks within the scope of this classification as necessary. • Requires constant standing, speaking and hearing; occasional bending/stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 10 lbs. Requires visual acuity with respect to discernment of shapes and colors related to traffic safety. Agility is required at a level that would allow avoidance of an imminent danger from vehicles. • Is subject to working conditions involving constant extreme weather conditions, very frequent exposure to insects, frequent excessive noise. • Exposure to moving vehicles requires awareness of surroundings and sounds/noises. • Performs any other duties or tasks that may be assigned.
